| In my entire life I have been interested in finding my biologic family in Colombia, but I didn't know how to do it.
I knew that it would be very difficult, almost impossible, to find them in such a big country, but when I discovered colombiatupais and read the experiences from other people who have had succes with their search, it gaves me a hope.
I try it, and after very short time, Gyna send me an email, where she wrote that I should call her, because there was something she wants to tell me. She told me that she have founded my mother and she was doing fine.
I was so happy and suprised.
Now I'm in contact with my family and I am so happy. I can't describe how glad I am to discover this website and try it.
Colombiatupais have fullfilled a dream for me, I never thought that would become true. Muchas gracias.
I thought it would have taken much more time, but that shows how effective you are.
During the whole process I've been informated goodly about how the situation was and how big the chances was for finding my family. I am glad for your honesty and serious way to tackle it.
I will recommend this greatefull firm to other adopted persons.

The power of the Internet is a mysterious creature.. Words are woven in and out of a tangled web and when I was about to give up for another year along came colombiatupais. I searched around the Internet and read on
some forums about the successes that were made through your company. I decided to give it one last go and it honestly was the last go around.
Words cannot convey my gratitude that I owe as I am forever indebted to you and your staff for all the hard work you have done for us (mi
familia). I had prior experiences of hiring other firms that claim they will help to locate your biological family, but in the end they ended up taking my money and left me with nothing. Your company is very easy to work with and there are no expectations up front until you determine if you might have a lead on ones biological family.
You walked me through every step of the process before you even discussed payment, this was quite welcoming to me as with other companies they wanted money first. After the initial fact finding Gyna went straight to work gathering as much information as she could which in turn she shared with me through a flurry of e-mail exchanges. Once it was established that she had a good lead on my biological mother she inquired for photos
and a short biography on me.
After providing the information to her and
sending it through e-mail she came back 2-3 weeks later and told me she found my mother!! Gyna was diligent in her efforts and I was surprised how much information she gathered in such a short amount of time the whole process took about 3-4 months.
I will never forgot that moment and all the emotions that ran through my body. I am glad there are still decent human beings trying to help others out and you are one of them. I
cannot be happier than I am today, granted we are continents apart but the time we lost is a formality for what we have gained as a family as we have many more years to spend with one another.
I am now in constant contact with my family through the internet or phone conversations.
Muchas Gracias!

| Since I was 18 years old I had been searching for my biological family in Colombia. I had little to go after, and the Internet was not much help. I came across Gyna’s website and I immediately fell for all the stories from people that Gyna and Adry had helped so far. I was a bit sceptical at first, because there can always be people who want to exploit your situation, but I can assure you that contacting Gyna was the smartest thing I have ever done. Gyna immediately responded to my e-mail. The fact that she did not wanted to give me false hope around my case comforted me, and I understood that Gyna really was here to help me.
The process went very fast, in fact, only 3 weeks. On my 22nd birthday I received a call from Adry with Gyna in the other end, saying that Gyna had found my mother. It was a very emotional phone call and I will remember that day as one of the best day of my life. Adry is wonderful to talk with, it felt like I had known her for years. A week after the phone call, Gyna went to Medellín to meet my mother. I received a full report (in advance I had sent Gyna questions that I wanted her to ask my mother) and pictures.
I will always be grateful for the job that Adry and Gyna have done for me. A special thanks to Gyna who has done all the tracking work in Colombia, visited my family and initiating the contact between me and my new family. A big hug to both Adry and Gyna! |

| After graduating as a dancer, a new phase came in my life. I had my intendings to travel to Colombia for the first time and to search for my biological mother. A Colombian adopted friend sent me to Colombia tu Pais, and after seeing the website I e-mailed Gyna. I had the idea I had enough information for inventarisation. And Gyna came with good news that she was able to search. But that everything went so fast after that, I had not expected. After 3 or 4 weeks they phoned me with the information that they found her. We spoked about my life in Holland and I sent Gyna my website with photos, because Gyna would met my biological mother in Bogotá. I can not say more than thank you so much for quick and good work. And having new information in my life which has to sink a bit. The time will learn the process and I am very happy and thankful for that! |

| I’d looked for my biological mother for many years and I’d given up any hope of finding her alive since I was soon turning 30 years old. But one day I came across this website and I’d got surprised about how many good experiences they had finding families in Colombia. I though WOW!!! I should try this out! I instantly wrote an email to Gyna and I got the information needed to put my case into motion.
A time passed, and out of blue, I received an email from Gyna who had looked into the case and said she would help me. After that email, everything went really fast. I got many quick updates and about 4 months after my first attempt with ColombiaTuPais I received a phone call of Audry, from Netherlands, while Gyna was on the other line from Colombia. I got the opportunity to ask they all the questions I had on my mind as Audry translated to Gyna and she answered.
Then, after the last stage, I got many photos and additional information was sent to me by email. I had achieved so much more than I ever dreamed of, all thanks to Gyna and Audry at ColombiaTuPais. Today I’m writing mails with my half sister and I’m very very thankful for the job that Gyna and Audry have done for me. A special thanks to Gyna who has done all the tracking work in Colombia, visited my family, and initiated contact among me and my “new” family. I am deeply grateful! Thank you. |

Searching on Google, I found the web site of Colombiatupais. I got excited about it and right away I called Adry. She told me about how was born this website and about the Gyna’s excellent job.
I was in my fifth month of pregnancy and I wonder whether it will be appropriate to start searching my roots at that exactly moment.
After my conversation with Adry, I had such a nice peaceful that I decided to begin searching.
I sent my documents to Gyna, and in short time she had made it. It was a huge surprise that everything had gone so quickly. Later I received photos and all the information about my mother and other family.
This experience had a great effect on me and it has not been easy, because it is hard to get used to receive so much so quickly.
I’m also happy because after this, Gyna has always helped me and has been open to answer all my questions.
At this point, I have contact with my biological family by email, but in the future I will go to meet them in Colombia.
I recommend to everyone who is adopted to search its roots, and do not hesitate to contact Adry and Gyna. They will give you a lot of information and get compromise with your history.

| On summer of 2005, we travelled to Colombia with my parents and my brother Julian searching our roots. Julián already had contacted Gyna and she came to meet us. During the three weeks we were in Colombia she helped us searching. She found a photo of Julián’s mother and the clinical history of my mother. Unfortunately we had to come back to Holland but she never stopped.
On February of 2006 we received a phone call from Gyna and she told us that she had found my mother in United States and that they had arranged a meeting in Bogotá that month. I sent her a letter and some photos. Two weeks after their meeting, my biological mother called me and we clicked very well at once.
We kept in touch for some months by telephone and by email we interchanged photos.
On the first week of August we went (my parents, my boyfriend and I) to our first familiar encounter in Miami. What so wonderful experience!!! My two mothers, with the same first name: Adriana, got on very well. Moreover, both families formed a big family as if they knew each other for ages.
Unfortunately Gyna couldn’t be in this encounter, but the next year we will go (my Dutch family and the Colombian-American one) to Colombia, to personally thank her. Gyna gave me the most beautiful gift of my life and for that reason I am so grateful. |

| Since very young, Joshua had asked us about his biological mother. Later, he also wanted to know about his brothers and why he had been given for adoption. We explained him it was because his mother had a bad economic situation, but the questions continued and his restlessness was evident all the time... In spite of his youth, his maturity and self-confident push us to start searching.
Surfing the Internet we found the Gyna’s web site. The way as she expressed about adoption caught our attention in such a way that we decided to contact her by email and request her to make the Joshua family’s search. On June 15th of 2006 Gyna started working and, you won’t believe it, on June 6 she told us that she had found the Joshua family in Neiva. We were so happy that Joshua had insisted on looking for them.
With Gyna we sent them some photos and a short biography. She was 2 days in Neiva and told us a lot about them. She took 25 photos of all the family and helps them to open an email account to contact us. Such a good idea!!!
Since then, we have contacted them by email and, the most beautiful, by webcam our child could see his family and they could see their lost child. Everything has been so beautiful to be true and Colombia has become a very important place in his life. Now he does not have any other question, because he already has all the answers and the tranquillity. |

I contacted Gyna through a colleague, who recently had an encounter with his biological family. He expressed that everything went ok and that Gyna is very trustworthy. During the first days of March I sent her the scarce information I had about my adoption in Colombia. In spite of all the mistakes that my adoption documents had, she found them in just two weeks!! Gyna contacted my biological mother, brothers and sisters. Since then, I have received e-mails and photos of them. I recommend Gyna to do your search, even though it could take more time. I had so much luck that everything had happened so fast. I am too happy. |

I think Gyna does a very good job because she found my biological family very quickly. I am too grateful. My first thoughts were “lo que pasó pasó” (joke). I was really happy to see my mother… and I can hardly believe it happened! |
